Meet Our Pastor

I begin each worship service at Grace United Church of Christ with these words: No matter who you are, no matter where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here. These words are not original to me. They are part of a marketing campaign by the United Church of Christ designed to share the message that our churches are ones that offer an extravagant welcome to all God’s children.

While I didn’t come up with this welcoming phrase, I’m glad to say it every Sunday at Grace because I believe that it describes the Grace United Church of Christ experience. We are a warm and welcoming congregation. Grace has a history of throwing open its doors and welcoming all who want to be a part of our family.

Grace’s own welcoming phrase for many years has been to invite all who worship with us to Embrace the Grace. That’s exactly what we do here. Through worship, fellowship, learning and service, we embrace the grace of God that we know through Jesus Christ and then we seek to share that grace with the world around us.

We invite you to come and share with our family at Grace United Church of Christ. You are welcome at any of our worship services and activities. And please remember our words of welcome: No matter who you are, no matter where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome at Grace.
