Christmas at Grace:

7:00 PM Candlelight Service — All Are Welcome

In the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, take time to draw near once again to the  joy of Christmas.

At Grace UCC, Christmas Eve is one of the most beautiful moments of our year—a time when the sanctuary glows with candlelight, music lifts our spirits, and we remember together that God still enters the world in love, tenderness, and hope.

This year, we invite you—families, neighbors, longtime members, new friends, and anyone seeking a moment of peace—to join us for our 7:00 PM Christmas Eve Candlelight Service.

In the midst of busy schedules, full hearts, and all the emotions this season can hold, Christmas Eve gives us a chance to pause. To breathe. To listen again for angels’ songs. To celebrate the Christ who comes to dwell among us—bringing light that no darkness can overcome.

Whether this is your first visit or a cherished tradition, you are welcome exactly as you are.

Come share in:

  • Carols and Christmas music that carry the story across generations

  • Scripture readings that speak of hope, peace, joy, and love

  • A message rooted in God’s presence among us

  • A moving candlelit moment as we sing “Silent Night” together

  • The warmth of a community that believes God is still at work—here, now, and in each of us

Bring your family, invite a friend, or come on your own. There’s room for you at Grace.

May this season draw us closer to God’s heart and to one another. Come, let us welcome the Light together!

Welcome to Grace!

Join us for worship on Sundays as we grow together—deepening our faith, strengthening our relationships, and following Jesus in community and love. Meet Pastor Chris

Pastor Chris is an Allentown native with deep family ties to the Southside and a strong pastoral background in both the city and the greater Lehigh Valley. In every ministry setting—including his current call at Grace UCC on Cleveland Street—he has been drawn to places where the Spirit is stirring something new. Much of his work has focused on helping congregations embrace fresh opportunities for outreach and community presence, always rooted in the real, lived needs of the neighborhoods they serve.

At Grace UCC, that means listening deeply, building trust, and embodying the radical welcome of Christ in the heart of Southside Allentown. The church’s historic building is easily accessible from all parts of the city—including across Allentown’s iconic 8th Street Bridge. That bridge is a fitting symbol for this season of ministry: a church rooted in Christ, growing in faith, hope, and love, and building bridges of blessing and welcome
