This Sunday, we’re celebrating Pentecost—the birthday of the Church and a powerful reminder that God’s Spirit is still moving, still speaking, still lighting hearts on fire.
Pentecost isn’t just about something that happened long ago. It’s about the right now—about how the same Spirit that filled those early followers of Jesus still fills us today. It’s about wind and flame, courage and connection, and the beautiful truth that no matter who we are or where we are on life’s journey, we are part of God’s living, breathing Church.
If you’ve been thinking about coming back to church—or checking it out for the first time—this is a great Sunday to do it. We’ll have meaningful music, a message of hope, and a sense of joy and community that we think you’ll feel the moment you walk in.
Wear something red if you’d like—it’s the traditional color for Pentecost, symbolizing the fire of the Spirit!
